R. Pedersen & Sons represents dependability and quality construction. Rasmus Pedersen founded R. Pedersen Construction in Denver, Colorado in 1900. He brought his family and business to Fresno, California in 1914. The business prospered in the Fresno area and in the 1940's, his sons, Al and later Elmer joined the business, thus forming R. Pedersen & Sons. In the 1970's Al's sons, Paul and Richard, joined the firm after receiving their Bachelor of Science in Construction and Master of Business Administration degrees from Arizona State University as well as experience with other well-established construction firms.
