Fresno Piano & Organ was founded in 1973 using the name Conn Organs of Fresno. For the first few years the company focused on teaching adults to enjoy the hobby of music through adult organ classes. In 1978 the business expanded into selling and renting acoustic pianos and in 1980 the name was changed to Fresno Piano & Organ. The company still occupies its original location, although the retail and warehousing areas have tripled in size in order to provide the largest selection of pianos in the California Central Valley.
