Elaine's Animal Inn, Fresno
Are you the kind of person who feels guilty when you have to leave your dog or cat at home when you go out of town? Welcome to the club! This is the reason that we started Elaine's Animal Inn twelve years ago. Our family nearly missed our annual winter vacation because we couldn't find an acceptable place to leave our pets. We ended up leaving them with friends, but the topic of conversation during the entire vacation was boarding kennels. When we returned from our vacation, we embarked on a two year research project visiting boarding kennels throughout the western United States. Each one had certain characteristics that we liked. We combined all of the ones we liked and in the summer of 1989 we opened Elaine's Animal Inn.
