Beer Monuments, Fresno
With the new Millennium arrival, Beer Monuments is in step with the changes in technology. New ideas and methods have brought new techniques. Once dominated by hammers and chisels, granite engraving now includes computers, sandblasting and other "high tech" skills. Over the course of time, three generations of the Beer family have kept the business a vital thread in the fabric of our community. Though individual family cemetery markers and memorials are the predominant part of the company's work, they are not the only part. On the grounds of Court House Park in Downtown Fresno, an 18' x 6' memorial was unveiled remembering the men and women of Fresno County who lost their lives while on duty as Peace Officers. The craftsmen of Beer Monuments were to develop this tasteful and lasting memorial for the citizens of Fresno County.
